Swap: Page protector, bookpage and ink

This was a fun technique! I put some drops of acrylic ink in a page protector and used a brayer to mix it up a bit. Then added two book paged and brayered again. The background was made! I used white ink and a stencil to create a little lighter part and then stamped the dragonfly and word. Added a few highlights and a shimmer to the wings… put it on a sturdy purple background and it’s done 🙂

The other half

Earlier this week I posted the right side of this sweet face… I stamped on two ATC’s so I had the other half to work with also. I decided to use the same lay out but a different technique. I mixed my yellow watercolor with molding paste that has glitter in in. Same stampset, totally different looks!

Working with new stamps…

I have bought a lot of new stamps lately…including 6 sets of Cre8tive Cre8tions by Andrea Gomoll. Worked with them on cards some already and today tried two pieces of the Unicorn set on an ATC and I love it! They are great for it! I stamped the face half on the ATC and colored it with watercolors. Covered the image up and used a stencil with watercolors to create the background. Added two pieces of washi tape. Stamped the words from the same set and finished with some clear wink of stella glitter on the hair a black outline made with an ink pad. Now I want to make more! 😍

Swap: Themed ATC April

This month requires diamond and daisy… I stamped the daisies on a light blue background and colored them with acrylic paint. On a piece of transfer paper I stamped the words and little gem. Stitched it on with glitter thread and added a little bit of glitter to the gem also. Turned out neat, if I may say so myself…
