Decided to join the ATC swap in the Willowing & Friends FB group with the theme love hearts. I enjoyed working with materials I hadn’t been working with in a while…alcohol inks on yupo paper (right)…texture paste and glitters (left). Put the ATC’s in a matching card that I made a while ago with a gelli print.
After a few months break I’m slowly getting back into swapping…This was for an ATC that had to have 3 elements besides the background. I added yarn, a split pen, stitching and washi…pick three 🙂
A ‘double’ swap. First I received backgrounds from my partner and then I had to create an ATC with one of the backgrounds… From the 4 she sent I chose these two to work with. On both I used stamps. Fun swap!
Always a fun technique! Stamp with white ink and color with colored pencils while the ink is still wet.
Challenge for this month was to combine Lily of the Valley and emerald. For some reason I find these hard to do… I drew the little flowers and added a bit of color with colored pencil… made a background with a printed paper and added the quote with a micron pen.
This was a fun technique! I put some drops of acrylic ink in a page protector and used a brayer to mix it up a bit. Then added two book paged and brayered again. The background was made! I used white ink and a stencil to create a little lighter part and then stamped the dragonfly and word. Added a few highlights and a shimmer to the wings… put it on a sturdy purple background and it’s done 🙂
