Enjoyed starting this card! Looking forward to what my partners will add!
One from my drawer of handmade cards…made with a gelli print. For some reason I hardly ever tend to pick yellow and/or red in my crafts… My swap partner likes Spring and I think this matches the theme.
This month requires diamond and daisy… I stamped the daisies on a light blue background and colored them with acrylic paint. On a piece of transfer paper I stamped the words and little gem. Stitched it on with glitter thread and added a little bit of glitter to the gem also. Turned out neat, if I may say so myself…
Fun lesson by Donna Mulholland! Love how the colors turned out.
So enjoying working with Andrea Gomoll’s stamp sets!
Create a piece of mail art with a butterfly… I first had a different idea and wanted to make a mixed media postcard. But this butterfly stamp caught my eye and I remembered the technique I have used before on ATC’s… so I went for that and dres the butterfly. Enjoyed working on this!
My partner likes rain, stars and elephants so I gathered some pieces and made her this…hope she will like it.
Every couple of months two of my sisters and I plan a creative day… we pick a technique and spend a day playing together… so did we today… We always send each other a handmade card with something we have created. Today we worked with our gelli plates. The idea was to print package tape but we ended up doing so much more. I ended up using the tiny rectangle gelli plate. So fun to create such tiny pieces of art! I decided to make my card with two of those pieces and this is the result. On the picture you see the top of the envelope above the card.
Bought a few sets of the talented Andrea Gomoll stamps and found a moment to try one today.. Stamped on watercolor paper and colored with Zig clean color brush markers…
